Christ Being the Source of My Living, Carlos Zamarripa

As I was entering my last year of school at the University of Texas I began to consider my future. I felt a compelling desire from the Lord to give Him two years of my life at the Full-Time Training in Anaheim.

My time spent here at the Training has been some of best years in my life and will surely be an eternal remembrance. The things I have enjoyed in the Training have been a real appreciation of the Bible and the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, which helped open the Word of God and helped me love the Lord more.

More specifically, I have enjoyed the Lord Jesus as the source of my living. As I open and turn my heart to Him throughout the day with short prayers, I afford Him a way to supply me with His grace. I have seen that the way to live the Christian life is not through self-effort, but by God's life and His life supply. In the Training and in daily life there are many opportunities to turn to Jesus. Little by little I am practicing to turn to Him so that it is no longer I that live but Christ who lives in me (Galatians 2:20).
